Rimuro — Hi, I’m the co-founder of Slime Finance and the main developer.
Thesaltiestslime — I am Community Manager at Slime Finance and I am currently in charge of marketing at Slime Finance

IM Community — Question 1 — Could you please give us a simple introduction of Slime Finance? What’s the motivation for starting build Slime Finance?

Rimuro — Slime Finance was born as a yield farming system, but we are growing every day and we hope to become an innovative defi system, starting from the existing one and improving it as much as possible for the user, implementing new functionalities. At the beginning in the contracts to automate different tasks, such as multiharvest, to save transaction costs for the users. And we implemented the possibility for users to earn more by inviting friends. Our motivation is the innovation.

IM Community — Question 2 — What makes Slime Finance special? How is Slime Finance better than other projects?

Thesaltiestslime — Slime Finance is special in many ways. Just one of the few projects that we look at the long term future, we are innovating every day and we pay special attention to our community and their opinions. Slime Finance is a very new project, but we are growing slowly, surely and strongly. At the end of the road we hope that Slime Finance will be the reference for defi projects and that our investors will be happy and proud to have stayed with us.

IM Community — Question 3 — Does Slime Finance have it’s own token? Then can you explain about the tokenomics and use-cases of this token?

Rimuro — Yes, we have our SLIME token (SLME).
At the moment, the token is generated in our farm, creating 0.26 Slimes per block, you can use slimes to earn other tokens in the launchpool, very soon we will implement new utilities to the token to create a stable system.

IM Community — Question 4 — About Slime Finance security, how safe and reliable is the Slime Finance security system?

Thesaltiestslime — Our contracts are a fork, it is true that they have some modifications at the beginning but none of them compromise user funds. We have eliminated any kind of migration code and limited the commisions by default that are collected in the contract besides being all under timelock.

IM Community — Question 5 — What are the major milestones Slime Finance achieved so far, and what milestones are up in the future pipeline?

Rimuro — Slime Finance is a very new project that has not even been on the market for two weeks. Our achievements? Simple. We have improved and automated different tasks (e.g. Harvesting), we have also implemented our referral system and automatic launchpool maker system.
We are innovating every day and will continue to do so, for our immediate future we want to release at least two games, our automatic launchpool maker system, new vaults and NFT systems.

IM Community — Question 1 — Adoption is one of the most important factors that all sustainable blockchain projects need to focus on to become more attractive in the eyes of investors. What has Slime doen and what does it plan to do to achieve real-world adoption?

Rimuro — Still today, the traditional banking system offers its customers ridiculous annual interest rates, DeFi is a revolution that aims to replace the service that banking currently offers, Slime aims to offer the most user friendly and profitable system with the lowest risk, that’s why we have decided to be a fork of pancakeswap at launch, In order to not lose all users by adding our own functionality, our ultimate goal, which is getting closer every day, is to stand out with an innovative functionality that we can’t talk abou tyet, and become a reference in DeFi within the BSC so that the most novice users can finally enjoy the high annual interest rates as easily as possible.

Im Community — Question 2 — What area are you focusing on at the moment? (Defi, Stake, Dapps…) and what are your goals this year? In what ways or what are the ways to generate revenue for your project? What is the revenue model? How can it be beneficial for both investors and the project itself?

Thesaltiestslime — At the moment we are focusing on Defi and Dapps, this year we want to have improved our current yield farming, have implemented new functionalities, and launch several of our new products, as a minimum we want to launch the automatic launchpool maker, a unique and innovative vaults system, some games and NFT. Our revenue model is based on giving utility to our token from different perspectives, we want it to have all possible uses.

IM Community — Question 3 — The revenue generating operations of the project are automatically managed by the smart contract, these should not have the possibility to be altered, but can you tell us what actions you have taken to secure your smart contract? Have you collaborated with cybersecurity experts?

Rimuro — Our contract was born as a fork, and although it was altered we have focused on improving security, removing code that could move user funds, limiting default fees, we have timelock implemented and we are pending our first audit by Certik.

IM Community — Question 4 — How are you going to manage your systems if unforseen problems occur in the future, in particular, hacking problems affecting your platform have some of your users personal data? Would your platform be prepared to deal with such situations?

Thesaltiestslime — We are prepared for attacks, for example we have suffered strong DDOS attacks these last days, but they were quickly mitigated causing some downtime of just a few minutes, after this we have implemented new security barriers to prevent it from happening again, to protect our investors.

IM Community — Question 5 — What is the most ambitious goal for your project? What is the ultimate vision your project is trying to achieve within the cyrptocurrency market? I would appreciate if you could share with us the upcoming updates.

Rimuro — I think our most ambitious and complex goal right now is our yeld aggregator system (vaults), we have implemented many extra functionalities and at the moment it would be our most ambitious goal. Our ultimate vision is for Slime to be a complete Defi ecosystem in its entirety, expanding as much as possible. The most immediate things we are about to release are new launchpools to give immediate utility to our token (BTC and BNB TODAY), new partnerships, games, NFT and our automatic launchpool maker.

IM Community — Question 1 — As we know, every successful project has a few stories behind the scenes, what’s the story behind #SlimeFinance success? What was that vision when it first emerged as an idea? Are there any special prototypes or upcoming #SlimeFinance updates that you want to show/share with us?

Rimuro — We are a team of developers with skills in various sectors who came together to develop blockchain, we started on crypto world as crypto miners, and we were learning all this years and seeing how it evolves, we decided join to defi as developers to implement all our ideas, for the moment our next update will be a new lottery that we want to draw as soon as possible, as well as another game that we still cannot reveal.
Our vision is to improve the crypto world with our innovations.

IM Community — Question 2 — What is business model of your project? How it works? and
Who are your potential customers and which markets are you targeting on?

Thesaltiestslime — Our business model will focus on making our token useful in all possible ways, be it farming, vaults, games, NFT, tools or dapps.
Our potential clients are any defi user and our market at the moment is binance smart chain.

IM Community — Question 3 — One of the biggest priorities of Slime Finance is “new ways for Burn”, so can you explain us which other new ways have you found ?

Rimuro — Our token can be burned through use in our products, the most immediate system that we will implement for burning, will be in the next launchpools, where a part of the slimes will be burned as withdraw fee, our lottery also implements different and new mechanisms of burning.

IM Community — Question 4 — What is the team’s orientation and development plan for 2021 in the Defi region, why do you think Defi, this immature term, has a future? What results do you expect to achieve?

Thesaltiestslime — Defi is proving to have a future, displacing traditional systems and evolving daily, our goal is to make it simpler and easier for the end user, in addition to implementing everything discussed before, we are developing our ecosystem and we want to make it evolve with the blockchain.

IM Community — Question 5 — What are the key milestones on your roadmap — both things you have already achieved and things that we can look forward to? Any partnerships and short/long term technical milestones that you want to talk about or bring some attention to?

Rimuro — We have successfully implemented our main functionality of multiharvest, multistake and compound pools balance to stake, some of then are disabled for code until audit is released, we have priority on security, but we know it works! For the short term we will launch games, we will change our web design and our automatic launchpool maker will be implemented, after that we will release vaults and more!
